Ancient Pathway Through the Lava - Big Island Hawaii

I was hiking along the waters edge on the Big Island of Hawaii.

I came across this stone pathway which was probably built hundreds of years ago by the ancient Hawaiians.

It was so beautiful and I can only imagine the manpower required to build this in such a remote area.
