Blue hour: unusually colored sunset over harbor in Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Hi there my Steemit friends and followers!
Those of you who have been here on Steemit for at least a year probably remember the photo contests once hosted by @juliank as they were among the most popular ones on the entire blockchain. For some time, Saturday was reserved for the Blue Hour Photography Contest and for me, it was one of the most difficult categories as I did not really have many blue sunset photos.
Just a few days ago, however, I took an image that would make a great entry for this contest (at least I think so! :D) so let me share this shot with you today.
I took it some 20 minutes after the sunset already, while coming back home from my evening beach walk here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Usually, the sky remains red-yellowish for a while after the sunset but for some reason, it turned this bizarre blue-purplish shade that night.
I hope you liked that photo. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone and Steem on! :)
