Oh, the weirdness that is demonizing tobacco while simultaneously relaxing the demonization of pot. I see it here in Denver, too. A $250 fine though, wow. Tobacco is now banned on the 16th Street Mall here, which is an outdoor pedestrian mall, and it was largely seen as an anti-homeless-people measure. Pot smoking is also a no-no in public though, at least except for the 4/20 rally, but we passed public pot cafe type places in a vote, though I don't know if any have opened yet or if they are all caught up in bureaucratic red tape.
