Ilha de Boipeba, Bahia
Lets continue the journey in Bahia and visit Costa de Dendê which is south of Salavador. The first stop here is the island Boipeba. If you love beautiful coconut-palmed beaches, it is the right place for you! m'boi pewa - is a Tupy Indian word which means flat snake, in reference to a sea turtle, giving the name to the island of Boipeba. The ocean on one side, and the Inferno River on the other, creates a magical place and home of many species.
Up and down the coast you encounter reefs. The wide reefs are full of canals and shallow pools. Lets go snorkling and discover some marine life.
Boipeba is home to extensive mangroves, which makes the place unique. Discover the canals of the mangroves and observe many craps and other animals. It is one of the highlights!
The dense Atlantic rainforest of the island is home to a large number of birds, armadillos, foxes and reptiles.
Gorgeous sunsets are waiting for you!
After rain comes sun!
Seafood lovers will not get disappointed. The restaurants serve always fresh fish, craps, mussels or lobster.

Estive aí esse ano (na pousada Bobô) e fiquei surpreso em saber que fica no único município brasileiro que na verdade é um arquipélago (Cairu/BA). Valeu! Sucesso e boa sorte mais uma vez!!
