The ice mermaid
In Canada it can get pretty cold. Usually we are the one who get the worse weather, but I have to admit that last winter, it was mostly our neighbors from the south and in other parts of Canada that really had a taste of winter.
We got mild snow, and it was even raining at some parts. Believe it or not, but when you are use to go below 30 celsius, seeing rain is pretty spectacular. So there I was, coming out of a familly party, taking some fresh air (..or a break, call it what you wish) listening to the background singing from inside.
As I turn my head there was this melted ice, just sitting on a branch. It seem to enjoy the moon lite and looked at peace. Somehow, it made think of a mermaid. It might just be a piece of ice, but I still think it was beautiful. I say we hung out for a good half hour.
i would love to visit Canada someday
Seriously its a great place. People are friendly by nature, I truly think we have an open mind on just about anything. It is not only pretty to look at, its a little piece of heaven. Swing by Montreal and have a taste of our famous poutine and smoke meat!!
