Some cute fig thieves!
We have a syndicate of Cape White eyes at work here!
They work in a gang that patrols the fruit orchards here on the apple farm and their spies are all over the place. Believe me when I say that as the fruits slowly start to ripen, this gang picks only the best. We had dreams of making fig jam, but by the looks of it we will be lucky to get only one fig. Not that we begrudge them or want to scare, or hurt them as they are only doing what comes natural to them and an idea is for us to pick the figs just before they ripen.
Let's have a look at how they feast!
I have to say that these little fig "thieves" are very cute little critters and they have the right to share nature's fruits with us. We are also glad that they don't grow to the size of chickens else mankind will make KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) of them. And so we say Selah, to each his own.

True and we love them JJ. They are not really thieves, as the fruits of the trees have always belonged to them. Blessings!

At lease the white-eye got stuck in to every last tasty morsel on offer, almost swallowed up by the fruit @papilloncharity
Now to fly off, drop seeds back to the ground, in a few years new trees will blossom and offer more trees and jam!
So true as usual Lady Joan and we are sure that there's enough for everyone, as the farm do not sell the fruits. It's so cute to watch them almost climb inside the fruit! Blessings!
