Late afternoon shots in Paradise!
The water is like a mirror reflecting their beauty!
A fairly windy day with cold cloudy skies, warning us that winter is not quite over yet and colder days are on their way. The cottage where we stay on the apple farm is called the Fig Tree Cottage, due to a large fig tree in its garden, but I think it should simply be called the Fridge Cottage. Not that I am complaining here, as missionaries we have stayed in much worse places, but I am still in the recuperation period and the cold sinks into my bones!
But of course we are grateful, as there are many poor in our country that do not have a roof over their heads!
Let me rather show you some nice photos of the place!
The first thing that I have noticed here is that the reflection of the dam's surface changes color according to the sun's movements!
This is an earlier shot of the dam.
As you see the weather change, the color of the dam's water changes accordingly!
See what I mean? Later in the day the water takes on a darker hue!
And here the clouds are starting to kiss the mountains!
This little cloud is making a bed for itself in a mountain hollow!
And finally, the day has come to an end and tomorrow will come with more adventures of its own!
So many are saying; "live in the now", or "live for today" and I understand the concept totally. Why take out of today if you continue to worry about tomorrow? The question should be; What if there's no tomorrow?
If I do not open my eyes tomorrow, have I done enough today? It's what we do today that affects our tomorrows.
Recently we called a meeting to ensure that the computers that we donated to the children at a poor farm school do not stand idle. The CEO of a large IT Education company agreed to adopt the school and to offer the children the latest computer educational concepts for free!
See why my tomorrows take care of themselves? Simply because it's not about me, but rather about the others that we claim to help. Those little children at the school face many tomorrows and if we equip them today with top quality education, imagine how it would improve their tomorrows!
Enough about tomorrows, I hope you have enjoyed the pictures!

We have been working with the poor of all ages, faiths and races since Papillon was established in 2002 my friend! Thank you for the kind comment! Blessings! @haritakurdu
Yellow billed ducks on the lake, lovely country photography and good news about furthering education for children of the region, all good news living in today @papilloncharity
Thank you Lady Joan, The Papillon Foundation has landed and I think we are here to stay. All depends of course on life, as it can pull many quirks at times! Blessings! @joanstewart
Wow, that first picture looks like a painting! Truly beautiful.
Don't you guys have a fireplace in the cottage?
@therneau Thank you Sir and it's funny that you should ask about a fireplace, as the grate was broken and we collected a new grate in Somerset West on Friday. Of course we had to wait a week for it to be delivered to the agents, but for the past two days we had a fire in the cottage. Certainly makes things a bit more bearable. Fortunately we were trained to endure, as when we started Papillon in 2002, we lived in the projector room of the church hall without hot water for 7 years. Our work is not a job! It's a calling! Blessings!
