Here are some more of my faves from this year... i love using the old lenses... i don't edit the pictures, they come out just as the old lens and camera mean them to. Thank you for looking.
For the majority of the pictures above i used an old Japanese Hanimex 28mm f2.8... i also use A Helios 58mm f2... If you're looking for a good 30mm, i suggest looking at the 35mm CCTV lens, APS-C... i got one a few weeks ago, very versatile little lens... A simple C Mount adaptor to your camera body will sort it.
Thank you very much for this information :-)
I will have a look on eBay and hope to find something. I have several Nikon C-Mount (M42) adaptors in my astro box. :-)
Let me know how you get on... i've found that using manual lenses has brought the Zen back into my photography... and at a very cheap price for the lenses... i had to practice with the focusing, quite a few disappointing shots at first, probably expecting the auto focus to kick in... Be great to see your results... Just looked at your work on steemit, followed you... There are some awesome shots here... Namaste.
Thank you very much @paniopan
I've had some experience with manual lenses before, but those were only wide angle lenses and it's easier with the focus.
Awesome shots @paniopan
What M42 lens are you using?
I also thought to buy an old M42 lens on ebay. Maybe something around 30mm.
