The Thing in the Snow and a frozen Bisley
Bisley got left outside
and his steel is at zero degrees. Unsurprisingly he is very shocked by the unusual weather event. which is as we know due to a displacement of the polar vortex.. that's climate change irony for you ! the North Pole is 20 degrees above normal and we're freezing our brass monkeys off in the rest of the Northern Hemisphere (here in the UK more than 4 inches of snow usually brings the country to an abrupt standstill.) with everything at zero, regular googlyeyes won't stick. I made some snow googly's with white tack they give off a slightly mad look ! @fraenk will be disturbed by their hand crafted nature I'm sure, but nothing in life is perfect and slight imperfections can create great beauty

The Thing got caught in the snow. I'm not sure what she/ he was doing out there but it was there all night. Like a scene from Ice planet Hoth where the Rebel Alliance Echo Base is located in Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back, this frozen creature has been preserved for future archaeologists to discover. On a more serious note, when it's freezing, wrap up warm, cold is a killer. If you know someone who is vulnerable or elderly and it's snowing where you are, remember to check up on them. Get some shopping, make sure they're warm enough. Look after each other
actually... i am bedazzled by their imperfection ;)
I lost them in the snow lining up a great shot.. they will reappear when the snow melts. I will take a photo of them exactly where they landed.. hey it might be a random googlyeyes classic !!
hehehe... I'm not sure how the white-tack will survive the stress of the elements... but i sure am curious to see if they'll still be around to be photographed ;)
The first picture is reflecting the art of snow and magic of winter season and the strong red colour is nicely complementing the snow and in second picture it's reflecting as some kind of creature is hiding under the snow and watching very carefully. In my country there is no snow. So sad 😥😥😥
if it makes you feel any better, we only get it here in London perhaps once per year or not even that and usually it's gone within a day or two. where I live in East London, people get quite creative with the snowman building. snowwomen too, sitting on benches with headscarves and sunglasses.. and other group portraits !
brr... yeah.... the polar vortex is sending chills our way.
the white-tack eyes there are superb, regular adhesive is indeed tricky at these temps.

Peace One Love Bob Marley, John Lennon ;) that Polar Vortex should really keep vortexing around the polar regions.. although the odd snow bucket is at least fun for a day or two ! I am wearing my ski trousers and gortex boots to the office !
