Welcome to a special episode of the Daily D.

In today’s episode we are taking a look at an app I have been using for over the past few weeks. Steepshot is an app that was developed the photographer and photographer at heart. In this review I will be giving you all my first impressions, my overall experience and why I believe it would be a great asset to the STEEM blockchain.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

First off I will start off by saying when I was introduced to this app, I was “oh no, not another Instagram clone.” However, I decided to give it a chance. I have to say that I was glad that I did and I retracted my previous comment almost instantly after taking it for a test run.

INSTALLATION AND AVAILABILITY:

First, Steepshot is available on IOS as well as Android which is great so everyone can enjoy the experience. Installation was straight forward and easy to follow.

OH THE BEAUTY OF REAL ESTATE:

Once the app is started, you are welcomed with a familiar layout which is similar to Instagram but a whole lot cleaner. You are not bombarded with ads and the real estate for images are even and as well as eye pleasing.

EASE OF USE (EASY AS PIE):

Posting is very simple and straight forward. Simply click on the camera icon where would have the ability to either take a photo or attach one from your phone’s gallery. Once you have completed that, you have the option to input your title, brief description and tags. One thing I like about that tag option is that you have the option to add more than five tags. At the same time, you don’t want to add too many but at least you have the freedom to add more than five is needed. Once that is completed and you are happy with your completed creation, hit submit. That’s it, you are have completed your first post…congrats!

SIDE WORDS OF WARNING (WELL NOT REALLY):

This is still in the working stages so if your photo does not appear right away, don’t panic. I’ve noticed sometimes it doesn’t show up right away so give it a few minutes for it to appear on the app. I noticed however it is posted on the Steemit site instantly after hitting the submit button on the app.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:

So now it’s time to give my option on this app. I can safely say that I was greatly pleased. I loved the ease of use and well as the clean layout. This allows the user to have focus on the photos..as it’s supposed to be. The familiar layout makes ease of learning and use achievable right off the bat. I believe that this app would be a great asset to the STEEM blockchain because it has so much potential and can easily bring people over to the platform when the see the rewards that can be benefitted from. This is also a definite asset to us as content creators as well. Not everyone is photogenic and some people are really shy to be on camera. With Steepshot, you can still contribute to this platform and have fun doing it. From the professional photographer to someone just beginning the craft, this app is geared to everyone.
