Hi there! I've read your https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@steevc/re-etcmike-pyl66w#@etcmike/pylg5h and I understand why you're using upvote from bots as a way to ensure that commenters' rewards are higher than $0.02. But, gosh, that OPB automatic reply is so irritating/disturbing/(insert other here).. Just scroll up/down and see how the comment section looks like. While at first glance it looks fine, everyone got a summary of rewards, cool, the images are sometimes funny or otherwise nice, great, but then, try to READ something. It's like 80% bot text and 20% from users. I can't even clearly see the 'threads', if any discussion went there, I'd probably won't be able to track who responds to whom.. Could you consider picking a different bot service? Or, if possible, configuring it differently so at least the bot's reply is shorter?
I do agree with you that opb's messages are annoying when I use it to reward commentors.
I have two reasons for using opb:
In some ways using opb is also using my delegated SP to upvote the comments. And when I use opb it also helps the minnows who have delegated to opb too.
I will ask the curator to tone down or stop commenting after an upvote.
In the mean time I will refrain from voting on comments that are less than 24 hours old.
