Herons that announce the end of the day (English)

The silence of a morning in the Venezuelan plains breaks with the great variety of birds that in the early hours with their songs. They give a colorful spectacle in the skies and trees of these lands. Spectacle that is repeated at the end of the day when the birds return to the roosts.

More than 350 species of birds, between residents and migrants, interact in the different ecosystems that form in the vastness of this great region of the country, and the diversity in terms of shapes, colors and sizes is truly incredible.

In this photograph you can see herons that arrive at the area in a nascent sunset. This is a type of bird that has been an inspiration for great Venezuelan songs.
