Wild Animals Of Alberta, Canada

in #photography7 years ago

Today I'll show you some photos of animals I took since I came to Canada.

There are much more of them for sure and maybe I'll make another post some other day.

These wasps were high in the tree and we didn't have any problems with them. Fortunately.

I couldn't find out what he'd caught this time.

We were lucky. He prefers berries over tourists.

It was really cold that winter and they often came close to our house.

We're moving to the city soon, so I will miss them.

Goodnight my friends.

Stay calm and steem on.

You managed to make a lot of great photos of a wide spectrum of wild animals up close. I know that living in the city will be a lot different for you, but I think you will manage to find some time to revive old memories in good, old nature and make some more spectacular photos for our curious eyes.

That wasp nest is humungous!!! It reminds me of a hornet nest we had in a tall pine tree. I had the specialists come out. They wore their space suits at night to attack it. It was about 2 or 3 feet long and was filled with bald faced hornets - attacker nasty hornets, I might add. Once the nest was down, they opened it and sprayed the contents which was full of hornet larvae and the queen. Then they bagged it all.

Next day there were some angry hornets looking for their queen, but she was no more.

See what you might miss moving to the city? Although I am sure you'll find some of your animal friends there as well.

Thanks for sharing your backyard animals. Good night to you too.

wow awesome stuff.. So many wild animals, wild photography is very interesting and i am sure it must have been great experience for your.
Thanks @oldtimer for sharing this awesome photos
Cheers!

This elk is quite impressive. A lot of Germans go to Sweden to hunt moose. They are crazy about them, they even steal the road signs with the mooae motif on.
Hope everything goes smoothly with moving house !

You have beautiful friends in Alberta. Friendship on the first place.

That is one massive wasp nest.
