Streets Of Barcelona
My trip to Barcelona was more of the coincidence. On a way back from vacations in Dubai, we made a detour to the Roger Waters concert in Barcelona. That was our main goal at first. I didn't even think much about the city itself. Beside that our first day here was raining.
The concert was great and I'll make a post about it too, but after two sunny days, the city draws my attention. You can see amazing old buildings and monuments, gardens, fountains, and cathedrals.
In this post, I'll show you a couple of details but its just too many of them when you walking down the streets and it's impossible to catch them all.
Horses were a common object for artists and they've copied them to every small detail.
Big portals with heavy wooden doors as well. Unfortunately, traffic is quite heavy and streets are narrow. Because of that, it's hard to get a clear shot.
Usually, in the big cities, the tallest skyscrapers are some kind of banks or financial institutions. Here is a bit different, but banks are still impressive.
I'm not sure what this is but its nice too.
I saw many fountains around, but most of them in the middle of the roundabouts where is impossible to get a good shot.
The architects had a good imagination and sometimes they used unusual stuff to draw the attention. Like umbrellas for instance, on this photo.
I recommend you to enlarge this photo and pay attention to the details.
Spring is definitely here, no doubt about that.
Here's the proof.
Have a great week.
