Edmonton At Minus 31 Degrees Celsius
I saw two photo contests for today. Friday blue sky and street photography. I couldn't find the really good one for either.
This morning was cold. It was - 31 degrees Celsius and I'll show you how the streets of Edmonton looks like. I took these photos a few years ago but in the same weather conditions.
You'll recognize the MacEwan University by these towers.
Don't get fooled by nice blue skies.
It looks like this tiny old building feels safe between her bigger companions.
People can warm up a bit by fire pits when they passing the Churchill square.
Even traffic slows down at a day like this.
Life of an artist could be really tough up here. But he could definitely join steemit and earn some steem on a way. In a summertime when he can't carve in the ice.
Too cold even for skating.
Good warning, but he could mention nose and ears too. They can turn red and black really fast if you don't pay attention.
I hope you got the impression how it looks at these temperatures.
Stay warm and prepare yourself for the longest night of the year. Two more days to go.
I would never move to Canada just because of the crazy winters there. It's the equivalent of living on the North Pole. I get cold just look at your crisp photos.
Huh... I can't imagine... We are still above zero and without any snow again. We hoped, that the Christmas will turn everything around, but here we are... Going green in the new year... Watch for your toes and fingers, so you can post more interesting stuff here for us to see!
Brrr, minus 31 is cold. We drove through sections of Ohio in the U.S. yesterday that were minus 18.
Ice sculptures are fun to look at. That artist is brave/crazy to be carving in those temperatures though, haha.
holy shit -31 celsius.... i would stay by the fire pit all day :D
Damn, hang in there. Those are dangerous temps. Cosily commenting from Spain @ 20 degrees Celcius XD
