Fixing my poor photos
So as some of you know I just took up photography again after a long hiatus. I was never very good to start with but that is beside the point, lol. I bought myself a low end Nikon D3300 DSLR to get started. I started using Lightroom because I didn't want to lose pictures I'd taken because of my inexperience.

I was also doing a labor of love by digitizing all of my dad's (and some of mine) 35mm slides from the '50s through the '80s. I needed Lightroom to fix up some of the really old and faded slides.

I am a novice Lightroom user and I always try to use it with a light touch so as not to over influence the shot. I know some purists might see it as cheating but my limited abilities and poor source material makes it necessary in my opinion. Besides it gives me the opportunity to be creative beyond just taking the original shot. Something I really enjoy! :)
