Well 2 thoughts: You get some nice shots with your phone already. Don't underestimate your phones camera. A lot has to do with perspective. Maybe try a close up of your food on your next review.
Photographty is a great hobby, and doubly cool when combined with Steemit! Dslr or mirrorless cameras are so inexpensive now and even the cheapest make great shots.
The reason I use my phone is simply because its small and fits in my pocket.
My buddy @mender1 has all the DLR hear and tripods and does all that light photography with the shutter open etc..., its a bit weird what he gets sometimes.
