The sugar maples always seem to turn first..
I think this one branch is under stress from the rope of our hammock ... It may have to be cut for fire wood

Great color. We had a sugar maple in the backyard when we lived in Minnesota. Miss the fall colors.
We tap our 2 trees for Maple syrup in March ... we get a lot of sap from them.
