Wow, what an incredible experience! I've yet to dive with sharks, but hubby and I have talked about taking a trip to Maldives for diving in the future. Looks like we wouldn't be disappointed! What a view to surface to as well. Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure! I can certainly recommend this trip. If you are just in it for the diving than a liveaboard is the best use of your time there, and I do recommend this company. They are excellent and have standards of conservation when underwater .. helping to preserve the life of the coral reefs and marine life, where some of the other companies don't seem to care.
Alternatively you can go to a resort and do some dive trips from there, though you will end up doing fewer dives that way and all in the same area, but it is a more relaxing holiday ;)
Yeah we've done a few resort holidays, where we just did a few dives here and there, and snorkeling trips/around the resort. We'd love to do a liveaboard though! It'll likely be a few years before we get to do anything like that again though.
