Wildflowers

These are some of the wildflowers I saw on a walk near Twekkelo, The Netherlands last week. All are modest and often overlooked, or even despised as weeds. Still, up close, they are quite beautiful.

Daisy (Bellis perennis):

Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis):

Common broom (Cytisus scoparius):

Starwort (Stellaria):

And two kinds of nettles, usually removed by gardeners, but they actually have pretty flowers:
