Good shot! These have made their way to The Netherlands as well, I have seen many of them over the last few years, but not before.

They have been moving up from the south of Europe to as far north as Norway. Here's a Dutch one:

They make these very strange webs, with a zig-zag pattern in them. No idea why. Maybe they hired an interior decorator 8-).
