Portrait studies of a singer

I walked in to my favourite bookshop the other day, and found to my surprise there was a band playing:

These things happen. The band is called AapNootMies.

I used the opportunity to shoot some portrait photos of the singer. It's always a little easier to shoot unposed photos when you know the one you are photographing isn't going anywhere anytime soon 8-). Here are the results:
