Monster
There's a monster in that there grass:
Olympus XZ-1, 112mm, ISO100, f5.6, 1/200s
Actually, it is just one of the crane flies, langpootmuggen in Dutch, and harmless.
This is a more modest looking cousin:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO800, f5.6, 1/100s

There is a good possibility that I would embarrass myself by by screaming and running if I saw one of these "monsters". I am able to control myself a bit better these days but still, that first one looks pretty menacing. :)

This is a real monster. This insect has a sting, must be dangerous, but looking nice)
