My first pictures, help/tips are appreciated! (Flowers/random objects)
Hello everyone!
I just started taking pictures of random things just to practise my photography skills. These photos where taken with my Nikon D40. If you have tips/tricks for me to make better pictures please leave them in the comments. Have a nice day :)
I thought the picture of these flowers is nice because the color is so nice :)
This is just a random Smurf I bought when I was on vacation in Spain
This is a bouncy ball my cat plays with
Just a random bycicle rider I placed in the grass
Again, all help is appreciated! :)

Great start, you could improve your photography skills using prime lenses which are known for being extremely sharp even wide open and if you use a macro lens well you can get some amazing shots. A great lens is Nikon 105 2.8 VR which is also stabilized, but a great one and the sharpest i used is Nikon 55 2.8 Ai-s although is a bit hard to handle. Good luck!
Thanks, this is very helpful.
I might buy a macro lens, they seem pretty nice
