Art Rapa'i in Aceh. How is your place??
Rapa'i Geleng is a typical Acehnese dance dance originating from the Southern part of Aceh precisely Manggeng. but now, Rapa'i has grown to all parts of Aceh.
such as this Rapa'i photo, @nurul.fahmi documenting the appearance of Rapa'i in a family event in West Aceh. usually, the appearance of Rapa'i became one of the entertainment held in official government events, celebrations, and other art events.
Rapa'i Geleng game is also included dance movement that symbolizes the attitude of uniformity and cooperation, togetherness, and full cohesiveness in the community environment.
This dance expresses the dynamics of society in the sung sung, in addition to the art of body movement and the clashing of hands in beating Rapa'i, drawing again in the appearance of Rapa'i in content with poems about the condition and state of society as well as other art messages.
This type of dance is played by men. Usually played by 12 well-trained men.
