Where Christmas Went

Explorations in Chicago since I've moved here have mostly involved doggos, parks, alleyways and finding places that I can feel like a wild human in, even amidst the intense density.

There is something that intrigues me about seeing what happens to things that people care about, or put intention into, after they throw them "away." Of course we know, there really is no away . . .

This cute little Christmas Tree found a resting place underneath a bridge on a mildly cold day.
