There is extensive cultivation of raw chillies in Gabtali upazila of Bogra. According to the Department of Agricultural Extension, this year the cultivation of chilli has been done in 330 hectares of the upazila, more than 30 hectares than the target. The farmers are getting the right price due to the good yield. The raw chilli is sold in the Kalkapa Subat Bazar of the upazila. Other than Friday and Tuesday, chillies are sold in this market for five days a week. In addition to Gabtali for sale in the market, the farmers brought their chillies from Dhunat, Shajahanpur and Sariakandi. Chillies can be found here in different districts of the country including Chittagong. The pictures have been recently cambered.
