A fisherman fishing in the river Turag by a fishing gear. This gear name is lift net and local name is Tana jhal. Everyday 12 to 14 hours he usually fishing. In day two times he sell the fish in his local area and sometimes sell near market. Turag river total length around 62 kilometres. It near Dhaka city.

Turag river is one of the best river in Bangladesh
Most of the time in a year Turag river water is polluted, only summer season water quality is better then others seasons. Whole year fisherman catch the fish but winter season's has low number of fish species they catch.
