Pashupatinath Temple is one of the famous temple located in Nepal. It is scared Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath (Lord Shiva). It falls on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites's list Since 1979. Located on the banks of Bagmati River, this temple remains crowded by thousands of people in festivals like Maha-Shivarati and Teej festival. By the way, Teej is on countdown right now. People are already gathering on the temple for this festival.

On the periphery of this temple, there is a small forest known as Mrigasthali (Mriga - deer, Thali - resting place). Due to the existence of this forest and also the crowded people and their offerings, monkeys are common sightings.

At late noon, people usually comes for the stroll and rest in a small park situated on temple's periphery. The sunset view looks really amazing from this park. Evening Aarati( Gangaa Aarati ) is what I am looking forward to. I wish that I can attend one of those sooner.

As a saying goes by: everyone who is born should die sooner or later , Pashupatinath has become the final resting place for Hindus. It is considered as a blessing to have final rest in Pashupatinath.
