A Sea of Humanity
The first image is my view from where I took all the photos. I couldn’t move it was so packed. I zoom to a maximum and shot, not really seeing what I was shooting at.
When finally I look at the pictures taken I was fascinated by the humanity that these pics revealed. Look at these faces, you can see a unity of humankind with all the individualities and similarities .
It was shot during the celebration of Amartithi means "deathless day". Also translated as "eternal date" or "date with the Eternal." It is the day which commemorates Meher Baba death on 31 January 1969.
