We took this photo the last time we were in Pantai Sanur, Bali. This beach is also called Pantai Matahari Terbit, where the traditional jukung fishing boats welcome the rising sun everyday.
What are the stories behind these boats? Who are the owners? Where will they go and when will they return? Some answers can be revealed if @gmuxx decides to choose this original image for his next Art Prompt Writing Contest.

What is the blue, yellow, red legs that go from boats? :)
Those are the handles which keep the boats balance. I don't know how we should call them in english, though.

We have them in Bali, but also in Madura and Kalimantan. It’s actually an ancient design from these islands and they are proven to be unsinkable.
Is so cool that something ancient made something that is unsinkable, i think we have a lot to learn frok our history
