Row style housing in Osaka.
A simple shot taken with my phone (Nexus 5).
These old row houses all share walls with the adjacent houses, or are at least very very closer to their neighbor. I think this type of housing was popular or at least affordable in post WWII Japan as the country was rebuilding. While still in use, currently most are lived in by low income or retired persons.
It seems to be almost like an apartment building, but only two stories high.
Old houses and building have a different feel to them, right? Good photos!
Yes, there seems to be the ghosts of memories of the people who have lived and experienced life in all it's aspects, remaining with the buildings even after the people have gone.
