My wife found this wonderfully large beetle in the garden and thankfully brought it in for me to photograph!
After quickly cobbling together a DIY chip can diffuser, I was able to get some close up shots!
奥さんが庭で見つけてくれました、そして写真を撮るために中に持って来てくれた！
I kept it temporarily in a plastic drink bottle that I'd cut in half, though it did keep crawling out!
切ったペットボトルに置いたがよく登って出てしまった！

It can and did fly, but these beetles do prefer to walk and climb, as such, gently transporting them on a chopstick is quite easy! They tend to climb upwards so be careful or it'll climb right up your arm!
飛ぶことができるが歩くのほうが好きで箸一本で簡単に移動できる。上に登るから気をつけないと腕にも早く登ってしまうよ！

beautiful insect :) plus awesome details. never saw a blue kind here. i did shot a brown hairy long horn beetle.
Thank you very much, the blue is subtle but it is there, I haven't touched the color or temp settings at all.
Yeah. i beleive you :) actually maybe the chip-tube bouncer did really help.
I guess it calls for further experimentation...:p
This Asian Beetle is truly reflecting as an tiny monster and i want to say one thing that, many times people find these type of creatures as creepy but in my opinion every creature have it's own uniqueness.
And that's the magic of nature means, every creature holds uniqueness means, unique body, unique features, and in my opinion this showcase the creativity of nature's creator.

I've been seeing these guys quite a bit this year, more so than in previous years. Not sure why. But at any rate, they are cool looking bugs. Great photos!

It means that these photos are of your pet. The truth seems very hard, bad humorada.
It's not a pet, just found in the garden, later released into the wooded area nearby.
