50 Days of Grey Part 1: Day 3 - Turn off your mind and use your imagination

in #photography6 years ago

Here is Day 3 of 50 Days of Grey.

50 Days of Grey is a collection of pictures and music as we follow the (on average) 184 days of precipitation here in Niigata, Japan.

So, Thursday messed a bit with my self-wallowing chi. It was sunny and I felt the necessity to respect mother nature, go outside and basque in her glory.

With that said, it was short lived. That night the clouds rolled in and by Friday morning it was a total downpour. Oh sweet rain, how good it is to see you again.

-I took this picture at work - students finding shelter on their umbrellas on the way to class.

Anyway, maybe you're experiencing the gloomy weather that is bringing you down. Or maybe it's crazy sunny but your're still feeling a bit blue.

Today's song by Apples in Stereo "The Bird That You Can't See" may help.

Anyway, this song feels funky - good for the start of the weekend. A nice pick me up if you will.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Of course if you did please feel free to follow to find more posts like this. Also, if you have some gloomy pictures to share, why not leave it in the comments below? I'd love to see from your part of the world today.

Day 2

@musingsltd is just a dude living in Japan, which has been his home for the last four years. His goal is to share his cultural insights about Japan and America with readers from both countries, creating a bridge of understanding between his two homes. He also blogs sports, terrible gambling insights, draws comics that lack art in every sense of the word and gives unsolicited advice. Why not kick your reservations to the curb and follow the guy, huh?

Sort:

Does that song mean that you’re flipping me off and I can’t see it?

Hahaha. I believe that is what is called "taking the high road."

And thought I was just getting better at reading the air;)
