Weekend Adventures #1 - Canada 150 Assiniboine Park

A. Just before the woman on the bench got attacked by the birds.
K. First time in a long time I haven't ended up wet near aesthetic water features.
A. I was wet.

A. This statue is at the entrance of the park, it is almost pornographic.
K. I personally enjoy the dudes shades.

A. It was truly the perfect day to fly a kite (up to the highest height).
K. It makes invokes the nostalgia of my youth. Kites used to bring me such joy and wonder. See them defy gravity and soar among the clouds and the birds

K. It is weird seeing this photo I would not have guessed it was taken in a park in Winnipeg. It looks like something from Greece or Italy. Saw few girls taking photos here, would not be surprised if they were taking it as such.
A. What sexism! I was one of the girls (the only one), and did not misrepresent the source. This photo for me invokes the smell of lilacs in the air and the summer breeze.

A. Winnie the Pooh was a real bear that was bought for 20 bucks! 20! These days you can barely get a decent burger for 20 bucks, let alone a bear.
