Cooking Polao Rice for a Wedding
Polao rice is being cooked for a wedding. The rice used for this dish is quite expensive and is also used to prepare various dishes like biryani and khichuri. While cooking Polao, several ingredients are added, such as raisins, different spices, and fried onions sprinkled on top. These ingredients enhance the taste, making the Polao even more delicious.
In this particular Polao, no additional ingredients were added except a generous amount of whole green chilies along with the spices. As it cooks, the aroma spreads, making anyone who smells it crave a taste.

This dish is commonly prepared for special occasions, gatherings, or when guests visit, though some people also cook it at home simply because they enjoy it.
Cooking this dish on a stove does not take too much time. Since a large quantity is being prepared, it is being cooked in a big pot (handi) to accommodate the amount needed.
