#Bangladesh is a beautiful country with its nature. Just take a few bold steps from your home and you will come across a country that you could never have imagined. To truly grasp the raw beauty of Bangladesh, you have to come to the compressed path.

One such path leads to Thanchi, one of the Utmost parts of our nation. It falls under the Bandarban Area of Chittagong Hill Tracts and it seems as a tiny speck on the map of Bangladesh.

Thanchi is approximately Three thousand five hundred feet above sea level if you want to visit Thanchi From Bandarban you can hire a 'chander gari' if you have group to visit It would cost around around six thousand Tk. But if you are in small team I mean 2/3 people, the local bus from Bandarban to Thanchi can be a good choice. It would take you approximately Tk250 per person and is a 4 hour journey from Bandarban. The buses usually start from Thanchi bus stand; ask anyone in Bandarban and they will tell you how to go there.

One lovely thing about Thanchi is the remarkable hill that greets you immediately. A road has been built though the heart of that hill which is also the highest road of Bangladesh and it is named the Thanchi – Alikodam .

If you love nature, if you want see jungle canopy than Thanchi can be your fist choice if are local or International tourist.

First need to reach at Bandarban from Dhaka by bus. Then need to reach at ‘Koikhong jhiri’, Ruma Ghat by bus or ‘Chander Gari’. Cross river Sanghu by machine boat, will take 25 minutes to reach at Ramu Bazar. At ‘Ruma Bazar’ need to hire a guide and must register tourist name, guide name to the military check post. From ‘Ramu Bazar’ need to hire machine boat to reach ‘Rijuk Waterfall’ for two way .
