questo è un viaggio attraverso l'Italia. Posterò una foto al giorno con una brevissima descrizione.

Tiggiano è un piccolo borgo della provincia di Lecce, nella regione italiana meridionale della Puglia. Probabilmente fu fondata durante la dominazione romana da un centurione, il cui nome era Titio o Tibius, quindi il toponimo di questo villaggio potrebbe provenire dal nome del centurione.
Il primo resoconto storico di Tiggiano risale al 1270, periodo in cui il centro divenne parte della Contea di Alessano sotto i signori feudali D'Alneto. La città è dominata dal Palazzo Baronale Serafini-Sauli che fu costruito nella metà del 17° secolo. La struttura, ora sede del Municipio, comprende un edificio centrale con torri risalenti al XVI secolo, un ampio giardino posteriore e una foresta.
Legato alla forte devozione che il popolo di Tiggiano ha per il suo santo patrono è la Chiesa dedicata a Sant'Ippazio risalente al XVIII secolo. Di grande valore anche l'Oratorio di San Michele, della fine del XVI secolo.
Il territorio di Tiggiano comprende un tratto di costa rocciosa alta del Parco Naturale Costa Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca e Bosco di Tricase, in cui si trova la cinquecentesca Torre Nasparo.
Torre Nasparo è uno dei luoghi più popolari da visitare a Tiggiano. Meglio riconosciuto per la sua splendida vista e posizionemolto tranquilla, la Torre Nasparo attrae molti turisti. Da qui si può apprezzare la vista mozzafiato di Tiggiano e di tutta la costa.
Da vedere: Il centro storico, il Palazzo Baronale Serafini-Sauli, la Chiesa di San Ippazio, l'Oratorio di San Michele, Torre Nasparo.

Tiggiano is a small town in the province of Lecce, in the Southern Italian region of Puglia. Probably it was founded during the Roman domination by a centurion, whose name was Titio or Tibius so the toponym of this village might come from the centurion's name.
The first historical account of Tiggiano dates back to 1270, the period when the center became a part of the County of Alessano under the feudal lords D’Alneto. The town is dominated by the Palazzo Baronale Serafini–Sauli built in the mid-17th century. The structure, now the seat of the Municipal Hall, includes a central building with towers dating back to the sixteenth century, a large rear garden and a forest.
Linked to the strong devotion that the people of Tiggiano have for their patron saint is the Church dedicated to St Ippazio dating from the XVIII century. Also of great value is the Oratory of St. Michael, of the late sixteenth century.
The territory of Tiggiano includes a stretch of high rocky coast of the Parco Naturale Costa Otranto – Santa Maria di Leuca e Bosco di Tricase, wherein the sixteenth-century Torre Nasparo is located.
Torre Nasparo is one of the most popular places to visit in Tiggiano. Best recognized for its beautiful view and non-crowdy location, the Torre Nasparo attracts many tourists. You can explore the breath-taking view of Tiggiano from this point of interest.
Thing to see: The historical center, the Palazzo Baronale Serafini–Sauli, the Church of St Ippazio, the Oratory of St. Michael, Torre Nasparo.
