After and before
So here’s the thing...when you look at the world through the eyes of a photographer, ordinary things take on different appearances. There is a moment when something catches your eye that you probably should pay attention to. You know there’s something more, but you can't figure out what it might be. So you look and snap, then you look some more and snap some more.
It’s like unearthing a dinosaur bone in the middle of mud and muck and slime. There is a wonderful surprise hidden in the mundane if you just look hard enough. Trust your instincts.
This is just a plant in my front yard. The picture is just ordinary; but then…
