Most people associate The Netherlands with wooden clogs and windmills.
The old-fashioned windmills used to be used for dry grinding of the polders.
In the present time this is done by automated milling.

Until today the windmills determine the Dutch landscape and these old windmills are still visited annually by thousands of tourists from all over the world.
