Tourism Lake Toba is a beautiful and very breathtaking natural lake that has a length of about 62.14 miles with a width of 18.14 miles above the Bukit Barisan mountains. This lake is located at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level (asl) and surrounded by green forest areas that make the air around it cool and refreshing.
Lake Toba has an area of 1130 square kilometers with a depth of about 450 meters. This lake is the largest and deepest volcanic lake in the world. Lake Toba is estimated to be formed from the eruption SupervolcanoGunung Toba that occurred about 74,000 years ago.
