My little trip

in #photography5 years ago

Hello everyone! Today I was going with my friends to Golubac and places near by that town. We just wanted to make some route so we can spend whole day together walking and driving. Our first stop was ram station in Stara Palanka that will lead us to the Ram Fortress. While we were driving by the ferryboat we went outside to beauty of Danube river but first photo that I took was some random dogs that were going with us. Like my friend said: "Damn, they don't need to pay ticket!" :D

This is the view from Ram fortress, it's really beautiful place and we even had thoughts that we are in some other place, near sea. Colors of the rocks combined with colors of the river just simply blended well together and created such a beautiful scenery to look at.

Here is a view from ferryboat of this beautiful architecture that was made 6 centuries ago.

And this is a nearby entrance to the fortress, a lot of stairs, so we had to take a little break when we got up there. :D

When you are looking up, you can see how tall this fortress is. Shade that produces this architecture is night and day, it's like 10 degrees colder than outside.

While we were there, we saw a lot of little boats with fishermen. I really don't know how they managed to stay out there without shade because it was too hot outside.

After we done seeing this fortress, we went to the Srebreno Jezero where we were going to swim a little bit. It's huge area that was made for people who love swimming and driving little boats. I didn't wanted to take any photo there because there were a lot of people there and I didn't wanted to look like I'm sort of a creep. :D

At the end we went to see Golubac Fortress but before that we spent a lot of money so we didn't had money to buy ticket for entrance to the fortress. We had to look to the fortress from a long distance. :D Tickets are really expensive for our standards...

Hour passed there really fast, after that we had to go home. Our trip home was 3 hours so we had to go earlier because everyone has to work tomorrow early.

This was the end of our trip, we had great time. I hope we will go somewhere else in near future, because this is just an amazing experience.

Have a great day/night! :)

You've had such a saturated trip @miroslavrc. It's so atmospheric to drive a car with your friends and visit some interesting places. The fortresses look very impressive and majestic🏰, were they fortresses built against enemies? In what country are these fortresses located, I just don't really navigate the towns)

The stairs of this fortress are a bit like a piece of large Chinese wall HNWT6DgoBc14riaEeLCzGYopkqYBKxpGKqfNWfgr368M9UpKaASEehiFUErRCWeM6D4fV9DBFrws4r2dYgJr69Lnq2eFVJkccHD19iur77AE9Wj66kRkj284cgW.jpeg

Oh, thank you very much for your beautiful comment. :) This is placed in Serbia, Golubac is the name of town. This fortress was conquered many times and it was built back in 9th century I think. :)
