THE JACKDAW
These pictures I took many months ago while visiting the Lake District
Jackdaws are the smallest member of the crow family also known as CORVIDS they are a very intelligent and inquisitive birds , I believe once a tame jackdaw was trained by Italian thieves to steal money from cash machines
Jackdaws mate for life and often find a mate long before sexual maturity maybe this is because they are a very social bird
I think the jackdaw is probably my favourite from the crow family
I hope you have enjoyed the pictures. Thanks mike
