Tunnel of Steel Wool

in #photography5 years ago

With the opening of a massive Sanatorium on Hamilton, Ontario's West Mountain, a residence for the nurses employed at the hospital needed to be built. So, with land donated, a resisdence was contructed in 1920. Today, it sits abandoned. Here, I spin steel wool with a friend in a concrete room just off the boiler room in the basement. I creepy, dungeon-like, morgue-feel room. Ideal location for Steel Wool

The steel wool technique achieved an effect
amazing!
Being an abandoned tunnel and with that strong story gives a lot for the imagination.
Working with fire always creates good effect but also some fear.
Congrats on a Curie vote!

hi dear @mikeheinhold, beautiful effects !! are you a professional photographer? congratulations on your work and your curie rating

Wow! These photos are absolutely beautiful. My father was a steel erector, and I used to love watching him work with the metal, and these photos bought back memories, seeing sparks fly all over the place, from welding and cutting.
You have a true talent!

Very good technique used for the realization of these photographs, I imagine that at the time of capture was very careful. I loved them because you achieved with this technique really spectacular and very attractive photographs, in addition to the site you chose very interesting. I congratulate you on your art and your @curie rating. My greetings

A pretty cool effect you've done, the story you tell in super moving and terrifying. It is incredible the amount of years that has the construction, in addition to what it reflects in terms of emotions in the human being for the antiquity of the same one, the sanatoriums and similar to this always have a point of fear in favor. Congratulations on the vote of curie

Greetings
