Siargao : A Tropical Island Paradise

Siargao is a tear- drop shaped island in the Philippine sea located in the province of Surigao del Norte. Siargao is known as the "Surfing Capital of the Philippines" but you don't need to be a surfer to enjoy the beautiful scenery and natural attractions on the island. Siargao boasts a unique mix of relaxed vibes, excellent surfing, deserted beaches, and practically unlimited supply of fresh coconuts.

The island is a place of purity and simplicity. No cheesy restaurants, fancy clubs, and tacky shops. I can hardly describe it better than that. Siargao is also for nature lovers. The relaxed laid - back atmosphere the island makes you want to stay forever. No matter how many days you've planned to stay in Siargao it won't be enough. That's because you will fall in love with the friendly people, the food, the beautiful sunsets and most specially the beaches.

I spent 8 days exploring this little slice of heaven and didn't want to leave. That's how incredible the island is. Siargao Island in the Philippines has instantly become one of my favorite travel destinations.
