The first photo is a picture of my yard. Large green banana leaves and even a bunch of green bananas. I live in the Philippines, but I grew up in the United States, while my parents are from Canada. I grow many flowers, fruit bearing trees, have goats and chickens. The balance of the photos are from this general area. I just found the spot with the small lake yesterday. All of the photos are very recent and taken with my iPad. My wife and I have lived here now for 4 years and it is very new to me still, not having snow and really only having two seasons. We have the hot season and the hot and rainy season. When it rains, wow it rains! The soil here is amazingly fertile. For example I have 30 plus papaya trees. All are volunteers!
