A true wonder of nature from the land below the wind. I stayed up for the whole night at this spot. Witness up to five shooting stars. There's more photos with slightly different composition and this is one of my favorite. I didn't expect the moon to rise from the peak of Mount Kinabalu itself. I was lucky my camera is already in time-lapse mode. So i just sat there soaking in all the wonder while my camera do the job. There's more photo where the edges of the crescent moon itself barely rise, producing a three diamonds glow between the Mount Kinabalu peak, just like the diamond we see during solar or lunar eclipse. The moon in this photo looks round shape because the camera is doing a long exposure shot. Instead, it was the darker part of the moon that was shown in this picture. The brightest part of the moon hasn't risen yet.
