Architectural Photography Passion!
Especially for architecture lovers, here are some of my favorite architecture shots I took while traveling around the world. I love all kinds of photography but my real passion is architecture, therefore I present to you this part of my work. The thing that I love most about this particular selection of mine is that we can see how modern and ancient architecture, simple or complicated, diverse or within the same lines, blend and can be amazing! For more Architecture you can visit my blog: https://photographyandarchitecture.wordpress.com/ :)
The Turning Torso in Malmö, Sweden (just across the bridge from Copenhagen, visible from Amager Beach), is a residential skyscraper and the tallest building in Scandinavia!!!
Detail of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana (Palace of the Italian Civilty) or 'Square Colosseum' as it is also called, designed by Benito Mussolini in 1937, in the iconic area of EUR in Rome - iconic because there are some of the best examples of New Classical Architecture or 'Fascist Architecture'.
Toledo is one of the newest metro stations in Naples, Italy, an amazing piece of modern architectural design.
Colorful view of Istanbul buildings.
New York being New York! This shot was taken at the Ground Zero area -New buildings appeared where the World Trade Center Twin Towers were once standing.
Last but not least, a piece of home : The exceptional Parthenon, in Athens, on the Acropolis hill. Construction started in 447 BC - and still, proudly, standing!!!
Enjoy and don't forget to smile!

Thank you so much @photo-trail !!! Coming from you counts amazingly!!! Following you, obviously ;) Thank you for the resteem as well ! :D I'm doing my best to be an interesting Steemian by sharing my passion :) Photography is a family tradition for me, but in portraits mostly - the architecture thing is exclusively my own passion, which I follow everywhere I go!
Wow

Many many thanks!
Wow back at you, you have an amazing gallery there!!! I upvoted already your recent posts - all so cool! And following ;)
Thanks a lot
Aprreciate it. :)
Really would like to be able to travel the world and capture those moments with a camera
It's amazing indeed! Hope you'll manage to do it in the near future!! :)
Awesome! We should see that Torso tower at some point...
You should - I have already :P :P ahahaha !!!
Seriously now, Malmo is amazing in general - if we're off work and we see a nice sunny day, we should cross that bridge, totally WORTH IT!
Makes sense...deal.
Wonderful examples of the variety within great architecture. Love the spacey quality of Toledo especially. Congratulations on being featured for DPS. 🙏 ♥︎🙏
Thank you!!! I feel so proud that I managed, since I'm new here :) The Toledo station is amazing - if the picture looks alright, imagine being there! And I was lucky enough that no people were passing by :D
Would be interesting to see figures in the image as well @meanmommy33, but they would give it a scale then ~ And the scale-less-ness of the image as it is, makes it appear so magical. 🙏 🎊 🙏
Exactly! I don't really like people in my pictures - when it's architectural photography that I'm doing. At my portraits for example (I have one post on that!), of course it's all about the faces, and I love it! Also, when I do street photography sometimes, I often include figures, to make it more real. But my passion for buildings doesn't let any space for humans hahaha :D
Here's another side from Toledo Station you liked @allyinspirit ;)
You have been many amazing places and you have a great eye for capturing the archectual vision and spirit of design.
Thank you!!! That was my goal so if you say so I am so glad that I managed then! :)
