Fun afternoon in beautiful Amsterdam.

Good afternoon fellow Steemians, I hope you're having a great day! Unfortunately I got home real late yesterday after spending a fun evening at a friends place and didn't have the energy to write about the fun day I spent with my Mom in Amsterdam. I hadn’t been back to Amsterdam city in about 6 months so I was keen to see what new beginnings this year had so far brought with it. My mother just arrived two days ago, visiting me for four before we leave for Switzerland, as I will be visiting some friends and family for a good month.

Luckily, we had some great weather and were feeling spontaneous rather than planning out the afternoon with various activities, especially given the nature of Amsterdam and its tourism industry taking over the city…

We meandered around town for quite some time, enjoying the way the architecture has largely been allowed and helped to prevail for many years. We took the chance of taking one of the ferry tours through the canals, allowing us to see the city from a different view, whilst learning a little on the side.

Of course we finished the afternoon meander off at a fruit bar, at which I got myself a carrot, apple, ginger and lemon juice. It was delicious and it made up for the fact that the following two cafe's in the next photo told us they had no additional space...

I took all these photos on my new Asus Zenfone Zoom S and am real content with the quality and super excited to be able to offer you higher quality photos from this post onward!
