Hello everyone today, I share a beautiful and old Ceiba tree, located in a small square in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. The bearing of this tree is majestic and imposing. It is a dominant tree in the jungles and can reach up to 70 meters high. Its yellow or golden flowers are large, beautiful and fragrant, with velvety petals, which give a fruit, in the form of a woody capsule within which the seeds are found, which are rounded and wrapped in a cottony fiber and when they open the wind It expands them a great distance.

These trees grow in forests where there is a season marked by drought. However, in the cultivation they have proven to be very adaptable and resistant trees, being able to plant in tropical gardens where they will give a very good shade during the hottest time of the year and its stem is very thick covered with thorns.
